ta, but I assumed you would all know I would have tried that anyway. I have tried making recordings with every possible setting inc. max low- cut. I think the point is though that even with no low-cut on & as long as the level isn't too high it should be possible to get a clean recording of a very quiet space. I can do so with other mics. It seems that even with max low-cut on the crackle is still there, however one thing that I worked out last night is with the file in wavelab & using maxbase wave plug in, removing the bass level does seem to reduce the crackle upon playback. Which does rather suggest it could be an issue with low freq. It bothers me though that I can't hear this at all when monitering through the SD. |
