Does anyone have any experience using the Lowrance iFinder Expedition Color in the field while Nature Recording? It seems like it has some nice features and that the Record Audio Note feature would be useful while Nature Recording. It seems like a Nature Recordist could press record on the GPS device while slating and then have the coordinates back at home indexed to the slate, as an extra level of documentation, without having to write them down in the field. Any personal experience would be interesting to me. All non-nature recording related GPS opinions, please send offlist.
