Were any of them from the session where it died?

I had my first power-fail Sound Devices experience a couple of weeks
ago. I was recording all channels to hard drive on a 744 with a
battery that failed. After about twenty minutes I started getting
warning beeps in the headphones, and in a couple of minutes it was
lights out.

I'm pleased to report that my files were there on the drive.
