Hi Clint

I need to take some photo's first, which I will try and do sometime today 
hopefully, but it is a typical grey and dank British winters day today so not 
ideal for photographic work but will have a go.

Thanks to Don, Phil, Dan and others for their helpful advice on stereo
mics. I think you are right about obtaining a superior recording using
dual mics in a stereo setup than a cheap single point stereo mic.
With more feedback so to speak on the 418 (not implying that the 418
is noisy)I may be tempted but it seems the best sound and flexibility
is had with multi mic systems. 
Phil, I would be interested to see any photos you have of your stereo
bar/Rode shockmount setup if you can post.
