Hi all, I'm curious about the design of the barrier(s) among two spaced mics. I don't understand well the relationships among the SASS design used by W.Knapp, the other barriers, including the Jecklin disk, and the use of "artificial heads". Why not using smooth, rounded barriers, like a sphere, or a cylinder ? And in such a case it would be better a sound absorbing barrier, or a reflecting barrier ? Where I can find the theory behind all these different solutions ?
