Hi Clint

You were asking about MS decoding, well I was passed this info from Sound 
Devices about 
a neat box made by Peter Engh. Take a look here:

I don't think you will go far wrong getting a Sound Devices MixPre, especially 
judging by 
all the praise that Sound Devices get from members of this group alone!
