I tried to check the K-Tek product but was unable to find an example. You may find the following discussions useful: http://jwsound.net/SMF/index.php?topic=3D9.0 http://jwsound.net/SMF/index.php?topic=3D72.0 Unfortunately, the link in one of those discussions to the Location Sound article, which contained photographs of very large microphone enclosures, no longer works due to the merger with Trew. If you search other threads on Mr. Wexler's site, I think that you may find further comments from him about custom windscreens and perhaps a photograph. As one of the participants in those threads, I ultimately decided to buy a Rycote. It is hard to swallow the apparent discrepancy between the cost of materials and the price of the product, but as I have discovered, they are worth every cent that they cost. Cheers. |
