By EM66 are you referring to the ME66?
If so I find the comment about it being 'a rather noisy microphone' curious=

In Rob's microphone self noise chart the K6/ME66 combination is listed as h=
aving a self
noise of 10dB, while your own Telinga Pro 5 is listed at 12 -13db, so is yo=
ur Pro5 'a rather
noisy microphone' as well?
