Dear umashankar and Klas, I think that the MKH circuit appears to the recorder in the same way as a traditional transformer-based circuit. So, it does not matter whether the (single-ended) amplifier output signal is AC-coupled to the pins 2 and 3 by means of a transformer or two capacitors.
