I'm using a Marantz PMD 670 with a Sennheiser ME66 shotgun mic. Several times on this list I've heard of the Marantz inputs being "noisy". Can someone please explain this, and let me know if there's something I could (should?) do about it. I can't say that I've noticed any extra noise- but i= t could be because I'm recording in already noisy environments. I'm definitel= y not as savvy in the technical specs- so I may have missed some of this in past topics. I'd appreciate any advice anyone could provide. Thanks David -- David A.
