I did comparison recordings with EM-23s and 183s with one channel
under plastic canvas dome and one channel naked. I'll try to get the
curves on my web site. I use a long-hair grey fake fur on a fairly
open knit backing. Resists both wind and rain well.

I was surprised at how much and how low the attenuation was. It
starts down at 2K and becomes a 5 dB shelf.

I want to tease out how much of that is due to the fabric and how
much to the plastic canvas dome, which is only about 50% open.
