Hi Charles,
 Before you totally give up on the Transit, you may reinstall your Transit=

software or uninstall it and get the latest Transit drivers from M Audio. I=

had a similar problem when I installed XP on my Laptop and the Transit and=

XP didn't jive with the software version I had from M Audio. The Transit is=

a fantastic little card and is bit for bit accurate, 24 bit 96kps accurate=

as well true CD quality.
