Any conclusion on WL183 and (loud) bass?

Sorry for bringing up the WL183 again... ;)

But I remember someone saying they had experienced problems when using
the WL183s with loud(ish) bass sources, and I was wondering if this is
a problem that can be expected to be encountered a lot?

I will mostly be using the mics for normal-to-loud sound sources, so
I'm depending on steady bass response.

Will a battery box or similar take care of the problem (if indeed
there is one?)?
