That's just the problem: It isn't possible. At all.

Sony, those protecters of all things digital whether it's your own
recordings or not, are not a Mac-friendly company. Their minidisc
software has never supported Mac, and probably never will - including
their latest SonicStage software.

So, for us Mac'ers this Hi-MD thing is still a dream...or nightmare,
depending on your view.
