Are you converting material already in aiff form, or is this material
being brought in to the mac? If the latter, the problem could be in
whatever sound input card you are using. In my case if I was bringing in
48k material it would be the Roland that would do the conversion. I
don't mess enough with 48k stuff to know what the problem is otherwise.
