Hi Lang

if you click on the box, next to the 'x' on the window displaying your
sound sample there is a drop down menu that has a Set Rate option. I
think that's what you are after?

Subject: CD-R recommendation

Here's an article that identifies a brand of CD-R that is
higher-quality and longer-lasting than most, making it a good choice
for archiving.

http://luminous-landscape.com/columns/sm-05-09-04.shtml

The CD-R brand is MAM-A Gold Archival (formerly Mitsui, and
manufactured in Colorado). It may be painful to spend $1.60 for one
CD-R when you can find a set of 100 no-name CDRs for free (after
rebates) just about every week in the Sunday newspaper ads. But it
will be even more painful when the data you wrote to one of those
no-name CDs can't be read after a year or two.
