I'm not specifically aiming that comment at one person. Quite a few
could pay more attention to the possible future. I'm not interested too
much in the parabolic of the 70's and 80's, that's history, I saw that.
I'm far more interested in the parabolics we might come up with in this
century. Or as much of it as I get to see.

I have no expectation of a better commercial parabolic than the Telinga
showing up, so will continue to get excellent results from mine for some
time to come.

Won't stop me experimenting when I have a idea or two. I have a few.

My advice is to not get too wrapped up in the theory or lab tests. What
we deal with is so at odds with that sanitized world that the major
thing is getting out and recording. Use the Telinga, try out what theory
says and see what you find. That's a good start, but you will get more
out of the Telinga than on paper says. And I don't try and explain that,
I just report it's there. Found while recording.
