True, and well taken ~

...but personally I am still keen to have the benefits of MD combined with
un-compressed recordings, as in my own recording endeavors I have come up
numerous times against the limitations of MD.  I continue to use it, and
advocate it, but I do recognize where my desires and needs aren't, yet,
met... so I am enthuiastic about the next Big Thing.

Especially as I'm about to leave on a recording expedition for six weeks,
and am going to go out knowing that if it'd been scheduled for four months
later I'd have some fun new gear to find the limits of... :)
