Well, this was where I started, as I thought I would be able to whiz throug=

the recordings looking for distinctive sonograms, but I was thwarted by th=

MD not allowing uploading.
Sonobat software www.sonobat.com has a feature for compressing the
spaces between calls, and I get the impression that I should be able to
access my file with Sonobat and see only the sections with bat calls, once =
I
view it in Sonobat.
I suspect, like all things, that different methods will suit different
circumstances. But, if using the new HiMD minidiscs will allow me to
upload 12hrs of recording as a 1gb file, and Sonobat will automatically
compress out the dead air time, then this is still a working possibility.
