It's bloody easy to record these ranges. No problem for MD or quite a
few other ways. Especially at the sound quality you need.
Could you possibly put up some samples of the call recordings from these
two detectors. I'd love to play around recording bats, but can't spend a
lot, so have been looking for ways to do it cheaply. Something I could
record into my Portadisc would be nice and these seem to fit that. I'm
after that combo of good recordings and cheap, always the hard one.
Also, what mics are you using?
