That is not what you said. You said that it was substandard because they 
did not include your particular preferred format.

Sony has held conferences, given tons of interviews, published a entire 
book of standards for MD and ATRAC. It's hard to see how they could have 
done more. Except maybe private lessons for you.

The concept of quality is not silly. However, your ideas of what's 
quality and what's junk are another thing. Such extremes are hardly the 
case.

I fully realize that the naturerecordists group has tossed out MD as a 
usable format. And everything I've recorded that people liked so well 
they no longer like because it was recorded on MD. It can't be quality 
audio.
