I suggest that we keep this technical discussion off list, the 
majority of us already knows that MD recorders are great, it is hard 
to convince me or others if you compare it by NOT using the device in 
your so called test. 
THAT my friend is VERY unworthy for a scienctist.

Besides, I do not think our moderator will be too happy seeing this 
discussion that has already been dealt with in the past over and 
aover again...

Perhaps it will be of much more interest to provide some kind of 
fieldjournal ; tell of how a recording was made, and let the 
recording be heard.
I would love to get some small course in how to record outdoors.
Anyone interested in sharing their experiences in the field?

(This is not meant as a personal attack, it's just that this list is 
for nature recordist, not for high tech lab personel that spend all 
their days indoors...)
