I could start an Exel* spread sheet listing mics, basic specs, space
for appropriate field applications and comments and upload it for
Walt and other experts to add mics and specs to. Maybe a newbie could
hunt done street prices?! This fairly comprehensive (still blank)
form could be uploaded for all subscribers to download, fill out and
return to me or someone else for crunching. The next step might be
dividing up the most popular mics and making separate web pages with
links to spec sheets, sound files and testimonials. There's nothing
like hearing mics side by side in the same location like Walt has
prepared for his mkh's/telinga.
*Or maybe someone knows of spreadsheet freeware that comes in both
Mac and PC? This would insure that everyone could fill it out and
make cutting and pasting easier.
