I hope that Mat will be untroubled by me sending his nice message to the cog list. David Stowe (with his father) arrived from Sydney this morning to see the bird. Actually they are up from Sydney to Thredbo or similar and spent the night in Queanbeyan. I went out to check at 8.00 am and the bird was there. David phoned en route and I told him. They arrived about 8.20 am and we had to wait about 2 minutes for the bird to appear (giving time to set up the cameras) and then spent the next nearly an hour watching and photographing it. My video reached the end of the tape. David is a professional photographer and so he will have another great set of piccies that I saw on the screen, which he promised to put up on his website at some stage (on return home I guess). Since then at about 11 am, I saw the bird fly over my house and it was calling along Downer Place. I couldn't find where so went back home and it flew over me and back into the usual spot.

Who wants to come tomorrow?
