Re yesterday's message. Matthew Frawley came past
at about 5.30 p.m. (too late for bird watching). Geoffrey Dabb came here about
10 a.m. and has just left. Geoffrey and I walked along the Hiles Place cul
de sac and park and back through my yard again and then when we got in the front
again, the White-fronted Honeyeater appeared again in the same trees as
yesterday the only place it appears to be feeding is the low Grevillea in my
neighbour's front yard. Conditions are much better today, bright and sunny, I
got more video of it, in which the lighting and focus are much better than
yesterday's effort and Geoff took some pictures which he will post. Geoff had
another quick viewing after me. The ID of White-fronted Honeyeater is completely
certain.
I need to be away to attend another function on
Saturday afternoon but people can come by at other times. Also I need to go to
Woden this afternoon. I have just been told that I am being offered a
"courtesy car" which I will need to collect. Because after 3 months under
repair, they still haven't fixed my car properly and are now waiting on a new
head gasket (to start again).
