A flush of Mynas

I have been surprised at the lack of young Mynas around and had come to the conclusion that the breeding season had been poor.  This does not seem to have been the case for the Starling.  I had noticed though the continual flights between suburbs and paddocks and for the first time today I have had young begging birds in the garden.  From this I conclude that either the Mynas have bred late this year or all but the final clutches have failed.  Does anyone else have observations to confirm this?
