red rumps & long billed corellas

I saw some red rumped parrots today, feeding on the grass by the 
roundabout outside Sharkies leagues club, which is basically at Woolooware.

"I am fairly sure that the status of the Red-rumped Parrot in the Sydney 
area was discussed on this list at some length a couple of years back. A 
check of the archives would provide anyone who was interested with the 
details. I recorded them as a teenager in the late 1960s at Woolooware, 
near Cronulla, and I have seen them there in recent years.
