G'day all David Geering pleaded "PLEASE, someone, anyone, go and and find a rare gull !!!! " Hear Hear! In Port Fairy please - but not until Saturday as I'll be in Wagga most of this week. For what it's worth - according to the authoritative website http://members.datafast.net.au/clarkja/sw_birds.htm there have been at least 342 species recorded in south-western Victoria. Not too shabby - yet we don't seem to get much attention from birders - domestic or imported - for some reason. I urge you all to come and spend some birding $ down this way. Cheers Steve Clark Hamilton, Vic |
