As I remember it, many years ago there was a Spotted Bowerbird hanging
around Point Lookout, Stradbroke Island, in south-east Qld. Maybe Mike Hines
knows something about that? I never saw it myself.

There was also a case of a Spotted which turned up in the Blue Mountains,
NSW. I remember reading an article about it which referred to the way it
adorned its bower with blue things and was attracting female Satins.
