I think you're right, and TechnoLogics may have an answer for me eventually --
at least I hope so.
Amusingly I found a way to bugger it in to working, I can use ioctl() to set
the IFF_ALLMULTI flag in the interface. That gives me _all_ MultiCast frames,
not just the ones that I want, but I can at least proceed after filtering out
the ones I don't want.
Very amusing!
I appreciate everyone's suggestions. IFF_ALLMULTI was suggested to me by my
supervisor and it works though it still isn't right. }:-} Now my application
layer will have to filter but now I can at least see the frames.
