Hi Eddie, yes I think that was how we were doing it.  We would make a software image on the host using "mkyaffsimage" and then the software update process would take that image and "mkyaffs" it into the flash.

How are you guys programming yaffs images into the flash?  Copying from an NFS mount or SD card?

Interesting we've never used the mkyaffs utility to program the nand flash. Hopefully J. Chitte can comment if he also uses the mkyaffs utility...
