Hi Eddie,

That's what I suspected.  We are making filesystem images here and then transferring those, first with mkyaffs when we used that, and now with our jffs2 version using an mtdutils program called "update_flash".  I think you may be onto something, all we need to know now is whether others with this problem are also using mkyaffs.

Copying a tarball to the Yaffs mount point via an NFS root filesystem.
