Hi J,
Thanks for your time and explanations.
Just need to clarify specific stuff to TS-7300, which are not clear in the manual (or in contradiction or simply not working at all), and will manage to verify the DD stuff myself.

1) What code is in initrd  and what's in SD card ?
My guess is, this code is located in initrd : TS-Boot-Code and RedBoot
In SD card : TS-Linux and Debian Linux

2) What code is executed before, and after the command 'exit'
TS-Boot-Code, RedBoot, TS-Linux, Debian Linux.

3) Can I have screwed up on-board-flash with jumper ?

Thanks

Pierre

I noted in another thread you said you were new to linux and willing
to learn. So here's where you start learning ;)

Check my second post above , you may have missed it before posting
your reply. I indicated what you should check first since it seems
you lock up when you try to exit fastboot initrd and switch to your
debian fs on the sdcard.

You need to make sure it's there. You should be able to do that from
your fastboot shell with basic linux commands.

If you need spoon feeding with that I don't have the time to give you
a step by step beginner's guide to linux and this list is not the
place if I did. You should have no problem finding that sort of
material in either French or English.

If you find you don't have the fs then you need to recheck the "dd"
file and retry the copy to sdcard. If you have specific errors with
that post back some info about the problem.

best regards, Jacques.
