you're right. i don't *know* that i need RTAI, i've just been asked
to get it running and look into.
yes, i was definitely running the ts11-rt kernel. uname told me so.
for some reason, both of the patches (adeos & the hal patch) don't
want to work and i get a lot of hunks failing. i'd say there's a 98%
chance it's user error since i'm basically fumbling around
i've already switched the board to the ts9-rt kernel for which the
rtai modules are available pre-compiled. i can run the test suite
applications with this configuration but get suspicious looking
results. i.e. a lot of numbers that are negative or not zero. i
wonder if anyone else could post up their test suite output for this
configuration (ts7200) to compare?
a coworker of mine is currently working on compiling the mainline 2.6
kernel with the patches posted on the message board.
