Thanks for the hints.  I will see if I can hook anything up to see how much current is being drawn.  I have some sensitive voltimeters that I can use.

I'm also supposing you are bypassing the TS7260 built in PS.

 
I am using the device as supplied by EA - board was mounted in the enclosure and everything was all hooked up.
