If you don't know for sure what version you have, then I suggest you start by
grabbing a new version of the zd module. I had similar problems and Eddie
emailed me a new module, but I think it's probably easiest to go to
ftp://oz.embeddedarm.com/wireless/zd1211/r83 and grab zd.o from there. If that
doesn't work, post back.
If you are trying for 802.11"G" instead of "B", that's probably not going to
work well, I've tried forcing it, and it's flakey at best. The USB1.1
connection between
the CPU and the adapter is much less than 54Mb/s, so it can't keep up. Setting
your access point to mixed mode or "B only" should default the adapter to B.
