Hi - any developers,
The problem is the pwc driver will NOT compile at all
on FC6 kernel 2.6.18-1.2798.fc6 #1 SMP Mon Oct 16
14:54:20 EDT 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux.
But I have a feeling there is a deeper problem, as I
also cannot get 'Qastrocam'
(http://3demi.net/astro/qastrocam/doc/) to compile
either, and the error is very much the same - notice
the message "error linux/<whatever>.h: No such file or
directory" despite the file does exist:
QASTROCAM ERRORS OUT:
ccvt_mmx_old.S:32:27: error: linux/linkage.h: No such
file or directory
PWC ERRORS OUT:
/opt/pwc/pwc-v4l2-20061105-042701/pwc.h:28:26: error:
linux/config.h: No such file or directory
I get the feeling something is wrong in the FC6
compiler or setup? Those files do in fact exist:
./2.6.18-1.2798.fc6-i586/include/config/i2o/config.h
./2.6.18-1.2798.fc6-i586/include/config/x86/find/smp/config.h
./2.6.18-1.2798.fc6-i586/include/linux/linkage.h
./2.6.18-1.2798.fc6-i586/include/asm-i386/linkage.h
Any expert developers see a common problem going on
here? Or am I seeing something that is not there?
