Yes, the M10 does the same thing, and they can be joined back together with=
out problems. I've recorded continuously till the internal 4GB and the 32GB=
 card were full of 2GB files, and they all joined together ok.=0D

But which software will be used with these files? I'm not sure about others=
, but Audacity can run into difficulties when tracks get too long. It used =
to have about a 13 hour limit with 48kHZ tracks, probably half that with 96=
kHz. I'm not sure if that restriction has since been lifted. They can be sl=
ow to work with, as the authors tend to only test the software on short tra=
cks.=0D

Raven Pro is fine with any length, and you don't even need to join the file=
s together.=0D

There should be no problem. Usually when these recorders split files the 2 =
gb limit, no data is lost. You can join them up again in an audio editor=0D
