! Preamps are quiet, features adequate if your fingers are small. Records o=
nly to SD cards. Short life AA battery pack only useful for bridging betwee=
n NP1 external batteries. Uses the same external power connector as the Sou=
nd Devices recorders. Suggest using it with SD=E2=80=99s NP cup and IDX's t=
wo-batteries-plus-charger outfit. With six phantom mics I got over ten hour=
