If I had a MixPre D, I'd lean on it for A/D conversion > into some cheap au= dio recorder with a digital input. But lacking that (old MixPre), the PCM-M= 10 is excellent. Since line in of the PCM-M10 is 1/8" TRS, I figure there's nothing to gain = by using the XLR outs of the MixPre.
