If you can find an old M-Audio Microtrack (which has a SPDIF in and can
generally be found for quite cheap, i.e. I found one for $50 CDN), it can
essentially function as a bit-bucket for the MixPre-D; you simply need to
get an AES --> SPDIF cable.
