It might be that you're just noticing these sounds now. I certainly notice =
planes, etc, more than I used to in places I used to regard as peaceful bef=
ore I began recording just a couple of years ago.
I think it's also possible to develop sensitivity to frequencies either sid=
e of a "notch" of hearing loss. I used to think I had wonderful hearing bec=
ause I could hear the high frequency emmitted by CRT TVs, but I suspect now=
this was just a symptom of developing high end hearing loss. Might be wort=
h getting your hearing tested.
I response to your question about quiet places to move in Canada, it might =
be worth checking out some places that are a bit quieter than where you are=
, rather than the quietest you can find. You might find that's good enough,=
and of course your choice will be much greater.
