As it happens, so did nearly every other great film- or plate-based
still photographer from the 19th century through the latter part of
the 20th like Edward Curtis, Diane Arbus, Eve Arnold, Margaret Bourke-
White, Galen Rowell, Eisenstaedt, Capa, Cartier-Bresson, Nick Nichols,
Frans Lanting, Cunningham, McCurry, or Art Wolf, etc., etc.,=96 masters =
in black & white or colour =96 all of whom at some point framed, dodged, =
burned, highlighted, or otherwise edited their photographs.
