Peter, I just asked the question straight out. :-)
As you understand, I frequently get questions like "what microphone
should I use?"
And then I have to start asking all the questions, like... What do
you want to record? For what purpose? Film sound? Research? Do you
want to make public CD's? Should they be replayed with loudspeakers
or headphones.... e.t.c.
Even though nobody actually says it straight out, it ends up in a
kind of summary like: "I guess I want to get recordings like all the
other naturesound recordings on Soundcloud that people say are so good".
So: What characterizes "all the other recordings on Soundcloud, that
people say are so good"?
What kind of "quality" do people get inspired too, by all "like" on
the web? :-\
Klas.
