Hello Everyone,

I've just recently joined the group and was wondering if anyone could advis=
e me in how to find bioacoustic or related internships. I am a amateur fiel=
d recordists and sound artist and I am trying to find more ways to get my f=
eet soaked.

I just heard about bioacoustics for the first time when reading Bernie Krau=
se's book the Great Animal Orchestra, and realized how similar it was to wh=
at I work with in my sound and video art. It is also the first time I real=
ly felt like my passion for sound art and zoology/biology collided into one=
 field.

I realize that bioacoustics goes beyond the arts into the sciences and I wa=
s wondering:

What sort of qualification would a person need for this kind of a internshi=
p?

What places, organizations, offer these internships?

and are there any other resources I should look into?

Thanks, I'd appreciate any advice you have.
