Have you subscribed to the bioacoustics mailing list? I occasionally see ad=

It's not a very active list, maybe a couple of postings a week, but I'd gue=

Hello Everyone,=0D
=0D
I've just recently joined the group and was wondering if anyone could advis=
e me in how to find bioacoustic or related internships. I am a amateur fiel=
d recordists and sound artist and I am trying to find more ways to get my f=
eet soaked.=0D
=0D
I just heard about bioacoustics for the first time when reading Bernie Krau=
se's book the Great Animal Orchestra, and realized how similar it was to wh=
at I work with in my sound and video art. It is also the first time I reall=
y felt like my passion for sound art and zoology/biology collided into one =
field.=0D
=0D
I realize that bioacoustics goes beyond the arts into the sciences and I wa=
s wondering:=0D

What sort of qualification would a person need for this kind of a internshi=
p?=0D
=0D
What places, organizations, offer these internships?=0D
=0D
and are there any other resources I should look into?=0D
=0D
Thanks, I'd appreciate any advice you have.=0D
