Did you use an external battery? I've had such problems with one of my
external batteries. I could not have it to close to the recorder, cable or
mic.

The image seems to have disappeared, which is really odd because I tried ou=
t
the link before I posted it.

I'll experiment with the towel, but I'm hoping replacing the unshielded
cabling fixes it.

I'm glad you like the recording, I was starting to wonder if had been worth
the effort. Hopefully it'll be even better with the nose baffle on. I cut
the foam to shape tonight, so I'll tape it in place for tomorrow's tests.
The unit's very easy to fit in my backpack without it, but it's going to
fill the whole thing once it's on.
