Did you use an external battery? I've had such problems with one of my external batteries. I could not have it to close to the recorder, cable or mic. ----- H=E5kan Olsson Fr=E5n: Peter Shute <> Svara till: <> Datum: Mon, 12 Mar 2012 01:16:59 +1100 Till: "" <> =C4mne: Re: [Nature Recordists] RE: Initial SASS test shows bands of harmonics The image seems to have disappeared, which is really odd because I tried ou= t the link before I posted it. I'll experiment with the towel, but I'm hoping replacing the unshielded cabling fixes it. I'm glad you like the recording, I was starting to wonder if had been worth the effort. Hopefully it'll be even better with the nose baffle on. I cut the foam to shape tonight, so I'll tape it in place for tomorrow's tests. The unit's very easy to fit in my backpack without it, but it's going to fill the whole thing once it's on. Peter Shute -------------------------- Sent using BlackBerry |
