Swap the connections between the left=A0& right channels, don't change anyt= hing physically with your 'SASS' and record again. Then if the 'harmonics' are s= till in the right channel, you know it's not the 'SASS' It may be that your recorder is at fault since it is peculiar that a mic co= uld cause such a phenomenon. What recorder are you using? If it is an FR2-LE, then you need a special ca= ble to connect the single-ended mic signal to the balanced inputs of the Fostex= .=A0I do not recommend running single-ended inputs into the Fostex in any case du= e to such 'noise' issues. - Greg |
