Does anyone know how important using the correct foam for the nose piece is=
?
One can buy just the foam nose piece from Crown as a spare part, and then b=
uild the rest.
Thats still $100 landed in Australia. But if any closed cell foam would wor=
k,that would make the project that more do-able.

Paul

2 inch or larger block should be substantial enough to hold it securely an=
d make a good seal. The hole will expand enough for an AT3032 or similar mi=
c to be pushed through. Hot glue should be strong enough to secure the foam=
mic mount to the back of the boundary material. Other tools for shaping: k=
nife, hacksaw, wood rasp.
