What I might try:
Yoga block foam and a 3/4 inch hole saw and drill. No O-rings necessary. 2=
inch or larger block should be substantial enough to hold it securely and =
make a good seal. The hole will expand enough for an AT3032 or similar mic =
to be pushed through. Hot glue should be strong enough to secure the foam m=
ic mount to the back of the boundary material. Other tools for shaping: kni=
fe, hacksaw, wood rasp.
